SUNSYNC SOLAR SYSTEM
SUNSYNC inverters offer homeowners and small businesses a complete energy storage system that meets the needs of a wide range of applications.
STEP 1:
CHOOSE THE CORRECT SYSTEM FOR YOUR NEEDS
Solar Power can benefit you, but only if it is used in the correct application. We've divided our solar systems into 3 main categories below to make it easy for you to choose the correct system for your needs. Expand later as your savings grow by adding batteries or solar panels as you require.
OPTION 1
OPTION 2
OPTION 3
Power your business during the day and save money on your electricity bill. This system is designed to provide very high return on investment and is cash flow positive from year one, but provides no backup during power failures.
Best fit customer:
Daytime electricity users can generate their own electricity for less than buying it from the grid.
Upgrade option:
Use your savings and tax benefits and upgrade later to SOLAR ASSURE. By adding a battery to your system you can now power your house during load shedding.
Productivity can never be compromised even if an unreliable grid is experienced. This design allows your lifestyle to continue even during load shedding.
Best fit customer:
Residential and Offices who wish to continue operation or lifestyle during load shedding.
Upgrade option:
Add a second lithium battery to your system to upgrade to SOLAR INDEPENDENT. If you use less than 20 units a day now enjoy being off grid.
Enjoy the comfort of living off the grid. It is often cheaper to install an independent solar power system than to build all of the infrastructure needed to connect to the grid.
Best fit customer:
Energise your home, business or farm where grid power is not available or high connection fees apply.
Upgrade option:
Add further batteries if required later.

STEP 2
FINANCIAL & INVESTMENT COMPARISON
-
Increasing the battery size of your solar system increases the total backup power, but the downfall is that the return on the investment is reduced. Choose the system now that suits your cash flow and expand later when it suits you.
-
We can assist you with a loan to allow you to rather pay off your solar system than pay an electrical account each month.
-
Below we compare the investment potential of the three systems with each other. In this example, we assume that the solar system is bought with a 10% loan over 10 years. We then compare paying back the solar loan to that of the normal municipality tariff at R2/unit. Calculations were based on tariff inflation of 10% per year. Businesses taxpayers can deduct 100% from tax in year 1, we included this into our payback model. *Based on current stock and availability.
Paying back a loan rather than purchasing electricity from municipality can be cash positive in year one R2,357.
Business tax payers can deduct this system in year 1 (section 12b) providing a further saving!
By adding a battery providing backup during load shedding and increasing productivity,
this bring the return on investment down, but taking into account the tax credit still makes this system cash positive in year one.
Normal homes and small businesses that use about 20 units of electricity per day can now even get off the grid with this system.
Business tax payers can add a further R27,440 to their first year's saving (based on 28%).
